Software your own organisation uses.
Employees, officers and contractors working under your direction, in any number of applications, with no limit on developers, users or documents.
SDK pricing · for software you are building
npm install and everything works — every block, both PDF backends, the designer, your real data. There is no trial clock and
nothing expires. The one difference without a licence is that generated PDFs carry a BroadPaper evaluation mark.
Buy when you ship. Which licence you need depends on one thing: whether the software you are building is used by your own people, or by anybody else.
Software your own organisation uses.
Employees, officers and contractors working under your direction, in any number of applications, with no limit on developers, users or documents.
Software your customers use.
Products you sell, host or distribute to people outside your organisation — SaaS, embedded, on-premise or shipped — in any number, with no limit on developers, users or documents.
Prices are in US dollars and exclude any sales tax or VAT. Licences are annual and renew unless you say otherwise; a renewal issues a fresh licence in your account. Payments and invoicing are handled by Creem, our merchant of record. See the terms and the refund policy.
No trial, no feature gate, no seat count, no machine activation, no domain lock. Evaluate with your real data for as long as you like; in the software the only difference is the mark on the PDF, and production use needs a licence.
BROADPAPER_LICENSE=BP1… in a Node environment, or one configure() call at startup, which is how a browser does it. The mark
disappears, and nothing else in the software changes.
The licence is verified against a public key compiled into the package. BroadPaper makes no network request of its own — not to render, not to validate — so it works in an air-gapped build and we never see your templates, your data or your documents.
A licence keeps working for 30 days past its expiry, with a warning in your logs. Nothing breaks the moment a card is declined.
Every block, both PDF backends, the designer, the render service and its .NET client. Nothing is held back for the higher tier.
No per-seat price, no per-developer activation, no render metering. How many people build with it is your business.
The licence is a signed certificate checked locally. The SDK makes no network call of its own, ever — not to render, not to validate.
One template, any brand, and no visible BroadPaper mark on licensed documents.
Your own blocks, with a declarative inspector and a pure render function.

Unwatermarked commercial use for a year, with every update released in it and support throughout.
On a first purchase, for any reason. See the refund policy.

Looking for the hosted product instead? BroadPaper Cloud is priced separately — a monthly subscription for a business that wants the documents rather than the designer. A Cloud subscription is not an SDK licence, and neither includes the other.
