BroadPaper Cloud pricing

Free until the mark bothers you.

Sign in and everything works with your own data: all 12 templates, the full designer, and real PDFs you can download and send. There is no trial clock and nothing expires.

Documents generated on the free plan carry a small BroadPaper mark at the foot of each page. Paying removes it, raises every limit, and adds one thing: turning a Word document or a PDF you already have into a design.

§ 02In both plans

Everything you make a document with, on both plans.

  • 01

    The whole designer

Every block, every chart, tables, page setup, headers and footers — dragged around a real page, on both plans.

  • 02

    Starter templates

Invoices, quotes, statements, client reports and more — finished documents with sample data, not empty outlines.

  • 03

    Your letterhead

Your business's name, address, registration details — such as your VAT number — and logo, kept once and printed on every design, with a look and one main colour. Keep more than one set if you trade under two names.

    How it works: Your letterhead
  • 04

    Your data, understood

Drop in a spreadsheet, a CSV or JSON file, paste rows, or type them into a grid. BroadPaper works out the columns and matches them to the design, asking only where it is genuinely unsure.

How it works: Your data, understood
  • 05

    Google Drive and OneDrive

Choose the spreadsheet where it already lives. Next month, Refresh brings the new rows in and every design keeps finding its columns.

How it works: Google Drive and OneDrive
  • 06

    Several documents from one file

One invoice per customer from a single spreadsheet, downloaded as separate files or all in one for printing.

How it works: Several documents from one file
  • 07

    Print-perfect PDFs

Vector text, real page breaks, repeated table headers, page numbers. The same engine as the BroadPaper SDK, which developers build into their own products.

  • 08

    Share links

Send a link to the document you made, with an expiry or a password if you want one. See how often it was viewed and downloaded, and stop sharing at any time.

    How it works: Share links
  • 09

    Version history

Earlier versions of every design, each saying what changed in plain words. Going back is a version of its own, so it can be undone.

    How it works: Version history
  • 10

    People and folders

Invite colleagues by email as admins or members, and file data, designs and documents in folders with a search across them all.

How it works: People and folders
  • 11

    Works in the browser

Nothing to install. Your spreadsheets are read in the tab and never uploaded — only the rows and columns BroadPaper read from them are stored, never the file itself.

A reply from the people who built it, within two business days.

§ 03Questions people ask
Do I need to know anything technical?
No. If you can use a spreadsheet you can use BroadPaper Cloud. You drag in your data, pick a design, and download a PDF — there is nothing to code, nothing to install and no formulas to learn.
What exactly does the free plan give me?
All of it but one thing. Every template, every design tool, your own data, share links, colleagues, real downloadable PDFs — only turning a Word document or a PDF into a design is kept for the paid plan. The documents carry a small BroadPaper mark at the foot of each page, and there are limits on how much you can store and how many documents you can generate a month. There is no trial clock.
What happens to my documents if I cancel?
Every PDF you have already generated is yours and stays downloadable. Your data and your designs stay in your account. New documents go back to carrying the BroadPaper mark once the period you paid for ends.
Can I change plans?
Yes. Upgrade from the app at any time; it applies as soon as the payment goes through. Change or cancel through the billing portal, and a cancellation takes effect when the paid period ends. If a renewal payment fails, the plan keeps working for 7 days while the card is put right.
Is my data private?
Yes. A spreadsheet, a Word document or a PDF is read in your browser and never uploaded as a file — only the rows, columns and designs BroadPaper read from it are stored, privately, for your workspace. Everybody you invite to the workspace can see what is in it. A document is seen outside it only through a share link somebody in the workspace made, and only while that link works. Nothing is used to train anything. What is kept, and where.
Can several people in my business use it?
Yes. The account belongs to the business rather than to one person, so your data and designs live with the business. Invite colleagues by email from People in the application — up to 20 people on either plan, sharing the workspace's limits — and choose who is an admin. How people work.
How is this different from the developer SDK?
The SDK is for software teams putting a report designer inside their own product. BroadPaper Cloud is the finished product for a business that just wants the documents. Same engine underneath — see For Developers if you are building software.
Do you offer refunds?
Within fourteen days of a first payment, for any reason. The details are in the refund policy.

If a renewal payment fails, the plan keeps working for 7 days before documents go back to carrying the mark, so a declined card is not a document you cannot send this afternoon. A cancelled plan runs to the end of the period you paid for, and a refunded one ends when the refund is made.

Building software?

The SDK is licensed separately.

If you are embedding the designer in your own React or Angular application, that is an annual licence rather than a subscription, and it is priced on its own page. A Cloud subscription is not an SDK licence and neither includes the other.
