Comparison · Stimulsoft, Telerik Reporting, DevExpress Reporting, ActiveReportsJS and jsreport
Choosing a report designer to embed.
If your users need to design reports inside your product, the serious options are few, and they differ less in features than in where they run, how they are licensed, and how modern the designer feels to a business user. This is how they compare, as their own sites describe them.
Choose one of the others when
- You need Excel, Word or dozens of export formats, not only PDF — Stimulsoft, DevExpress and jsreport cover far more
- Your product is .NET end to end and you already license a Telerik or DevExpress suite
- You want the longest track record in the category
Choose BroadPaper when
- PDF is the deliverable, and it must match what the user saw on screen
- You want a designer a business user finds obvious, in your brand, inside a React or Angular app
- You want to render in the browser or on any server without a .NET back end
- You would rather license per organisation than per developer
