Describe the job, price the lines and set how long the price holds. The quote is drawn as you type and downloads as a PDF, with nothing to sign up for.

Pricing the same kinds of job over and over?
Keep the lines in a spreadsheet and let BroadPaper Cloud make the quotes — one per client from a single file, with your letterhead on every one.

How the customer accepts it
A quote is not a VAT invoice, so HMRC's invoice rules do not apply to it. Once the work is accepted and supplied, the invoice that follows must meet them.

Questions
What is the difference between a quote and an estimate?
A quote is normally a fixed price for the work described; an estimate is a best guess that can change. Say which one you are giving, and for how long it holds.
Is this quote template free?
Yes, with no account. The PDF carries a small BroadPaper line at the foot of the page, which BroadPaper Cloud's paid plan removes.
Can a quote become the invoice?
In BroadPaper Cloud the same spreadsheet can make both: the quote from the lines you priced, and the invoice from the same lines once the work is done.
